We’re back baby

Alright, we’re back. Rough and busy couple months, but want to get caught up. First off; we’re down a bit. I bet against the Fed and paid a price for it, fortunately I’ve stopped that. Further problems: my JCP bond defaulted, yay — should’ve gotten out of it sooner. And a pair of merger arb deals failed too, banging up that book. Misplayed a few tanker stock calls as well.

I’ve closed out the merger arb book, and won’t be doing anymore of that in the PA, since the names I am most versed in I can’t trade there anyways.

Couple things that worked: gold had been a champion. JPS didn’t quite work, but I held on and have reduced the size once it came back. Also TBT calls were delicious. MRNA puts kicked in some gains. CTL call writing has made some money.

So that does it, quick update to get the ball rolling again.
